Ergotron ZAH25CG/CG4 Anthro Zido 25 Height Adjustable Cart, Heavy Load

Date: 11/30/2016 10:31

Question:
What is measurement of pole, not including base & casters or section that expands/contracts? I would like to add carts to pole section and need to know the measurement.

Answer:
The lowest height of the tube is 30" but that does include several inches for the base as well as another few for the pneumatic part of the column and shelf. Our technical team has advised that you can add an additional shelf on the pole but not an additional cart. Also the number of shelves you will be able to add depends on what you're putting on them. The holes are at 1" increments but you would need a few inches per shelf.

Kinesis KB800HMB-us Freestyle2 Split Keyboard for Mac

Date: 10/26/2016 10:31

Question:
I need a a split keyboard for a Special Ed student. School system uses Google extensively and this would be used on a Chromebook. I'm hoping to have an alternative to this keyboard. It's ok if special function keys are lost, concerned most with regular keys used in regular office programs/word processing.

Answer:
Currently there is a limited number of Chrome OS-compatible keyboards available which are sold by manufacturers of Chrome OS Boxes (PC’s) and Chromebooks (Laptops). To the best of our knowledge, there is currently no Chrome OS-compatible split keyboard currently on the market. However, virtually all standard USB and Bluetooth keyboards and mice will work with Chrome OS. This is regardless of whether they were made for Windows, Mac, or Android. You may lose dedicated function keys, such as screen brightness buttons I described over the phone. Regular key functionality should remain the same.

Ergotron 33-406-085 WorkFit-TL Desktop Sit-Stand Workstation in Black

Date: 09/26/2016 16:38

Question:
Can you tell me the dimensions of the feet that would touch my desk? How does this compare to the smaller version - Workfit T. Would either one hold two monitors?

Answer:
The entire bottom section of the WorkFit-TL is 32” by 22.5”. Both WorkFit-TL and WorkFit-T can support dual monitors so long as they are within the weight requirements. You also have to take into account multiple factors, such as whether a dual-monitor kit will be purchased (for greater stability in sit-stand environment versus standing bases) which would decrease the weight capacity, or whether they will be used with regular standing bases in which case you would have to take into consideration where the monitors might meet and whether the ends of the bases would stick out beyond the worksurface.

Innovative Winston Dual Monitor Sit-Stand Workstation

Date: 09/14/2016 15:23

Question:
During assembly, will I be able to decide how far apart my monitor and keyboard tray will be? Can I screw the monitor bar in wherever I want, or are there pre-drilled holes/locations where they will be? I'm worried that I won't be able to get the right distance between the keyboard tray and the monitor. I noticed a lot of the images, people appear to be looking down at the monitors because of where the keyboard tray needs to be, and I want to be sure I am looking straight ahead.

Answer:
This workstation has multiple mounting options (please see option 3 on page). A Freestanding base is included. There is also an option for a clamp mount and thru mount if you would like to use Grommet. The Freestanding base could be moved around wherever there is adequate desk space to accommodate the base, the clamp could of course only be clamped to edges of desk, and the thru-mount requires a grommet hole. The height between the monitor and keyboard tray is adjustable. The clamp around the column that is holding the horizontal beam the monitors rest on would need to be unscrewed. Once it is loosened, the clamp can be raised or lowered along the column to change the distance between the keyboard tray and the monitor.

Ergotron 24-316-026 WorkFit-A, Dual Monitor with Worksurface

Date: 08/17/2016 10:46

Question:
Does the desk have to be 100% square in order to install it? My desk is completely flush in the front but has a curve to it in the back of my desk, where the unit would be installed. Also will 12" wall cabinets be a problem for desk going up and down? What kind of clearance is needed?

Answer:
The Ergotron 24-316-026 WorkFit-A does have a clamp mount, which needs to clamp to the back of your desk. However if the mounting edge is not a straight line, this workstation will not work as it needs a straight edge to support the weight of the unit. But you have the option of choosing a grommet mount (extra purchase), which requires a hole (0.5"-2.5") to be drilled in the desk. As for your cabinets, the maximum height of this unit is 40.95". After adding a screen, the overall maximum height from the desktop to top of the screen is about 45". The workstation has a 25" height adjustability so the lowest point will be about 20" from the desktop to the top of the screen.

Question:
I have a Dell S2340L monitor and a laptop. I want to know if I can fit them on this WorkFit-S without buying any additional accessories.

Ergotron 33-406-085 WorkFit-TL Desktop Sit-Stand Workstation in Black

Date: 07/05/2016 12:43

Question:
How high is the monitor and keyboard lifted in its upright position? I'm 5'4" and wondering if everything would be too high for me. How many settings are there between completely lowered to completely raised? Do the cords get caught in the mechanism as it moves?

Answer:
The unit’s work surface rests 5” above the surface of the table the unit is on. The unit can be raised up to a max height of 20” above the table, for a total of 15” inches of height adjustability. You can choose to set the height at any point within the 15” range of height adjustment, and it does not have to be all the way up or all the way down. You can easily adjust it to any level that is comfortable for you. The work surface has a little notch cut out in the back center of the work surface designed to keep your cords safely out of the way. The keyboard tray is not adjustable, and is 5” below the surface of the unit. When the unit is raised to its maximum height of 20”, the max keyboard height is 15” above the base.
