Description
After years of hearing that the Vertical Mouse is a little too big for some, Evoluent has made the New VM4 Version in a Smaller type. This new version is about 10% smaller. Since it is basically geared towards a woman`s hand that is smaller, the mouse has the original Purple Color for the buttons in front.
Avoids forearm twisting for comfort and good health. The patented shape supports your hand in an upright neutral posture that generally avoids forearm twisting. Many users, including medical doctors, ergonomists and physical therapists, said the Evoluent VerticalMouse provides superior comfort and even relieved their wrist pain.
Important Note: Touching the Evoluent Mouse when your hand is wet with alcohol-based hand sanitizer might eventually cause the paint to wrinkle. The product instructions sheet carries a warning about this fact. Please let your hand dry after each sanitizer application before touching the Vertical Mouse.
Hand Size Information (Maximum Hand Size)
The Evoluent VerticalMouse 4 Small is for hands less than about 7 inches or 178 mm long from the tip of the middle finger to the wrist crease. If your hand is the same size or smaller than the below drawing, VM4S may fit you better than the regular VM4R.

Approved ergonomic mouse of University of California, Berkeley
The Evoluent VerticalMouse 2 (an earlier model identical in concept) was evaluated in 2007 by a team at the health services clinic in UC Berkeley, including medical doctors, physical therapists, ergonomists, and administrators. It was found to be comfortable, easily adapted to, and promote a neutral wrist and forearm posture. It was the only vertical type mouse approved for staff use within UC Berkeley and for sale in the campus store at that time
